PAYAO, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY — A wave of pride and celebration swept through the province as Miss Payao 2026, Queenly Mae Cañete, was crowned Binibining Sibugay 2026 during the grand celebration of Zamboanga Sibugay’s 25th Jubilee Anniversary.

Representing the Municipality of Payao, Cañete delivered an exceptional performance that captured the hearts of both the judges and the audience. Her grace, intelligence, and commanding stage presence shone throughout the competition, ultimately earning her the coveted provincial crown.

In addition to winning the title, Cañete also garnered several special awards, further highlighting her outstanding performance. She received the People’s Choice Award, proving her strong support from the public; was named Miss Witty for her sharp and intelligent responses during the question-and-answer portion; and earned Best in Talent for her impressive and captivating performance.

The pageant served as one of the major highlights of the province’s silver jubilee celebration, showcasing not only beauty but also talent, confidence, and empowerment among Sibugaynon women. Cañete’s victory marks a proud milestone for Payao and reflects the dedication and potential of its young leaders.
