Distinguished officials and representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP)—led by LTGEN Neri Vincent D. Ignacio—the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) recently convened for a high-level joint meeting. They were joined by First District Representative Hon. Atty. Marlo Bancoro to discuss the proposed AFP-PNP-PCG Joint Camp on Pandilusan Island, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Collaborative Strategy and Goals

The discussion centered on several strategic objectives designed to bring the project to fruition:

  • Strengthening Coordination: Enhancing the synergy between different branches of the uniformed services.

  • Policy Alignment: Ensuring that various agency protocols are unified under a single operational framework.

  • Finalizing the MOA: Completing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) necessary for the formal establishment of the camp.

 

A Commitment to Peace and Progress

The establishment of this Joint Camp is viewed as a vital initiative aimed at reinforcing peace, security, and sustainable development within the municipality and the entire First District of Zamboanga Sibugay.

By prioritizing unity and cooperation among government agencies, these leaders continue to pave the way for a safer, stronger, and more progressive Payao for every Payaonon.
